Steel Warehouse Buildings for Port Operations

This project comprises large steel warehouse buildings constructed for the second phase of the multipurpose terminal at Xuwei Port in Lianyungang. Designed for demanding port operations, the buildings provide spacious interiors, high usable clearance and convenient access for cargo storage, handling equipment and transport vehicles.

The steel framing system combines structural efficiency with flexible internal layouts, allowing the warehouses to accommodate changing operational requirements. Prefabricated members improved dimensional accuracy and supported efficient installation, while the roof and wall systems formed a clean, durable and weather-resistant enclosure suitable for the coastal environment.

Construction required close control of column alignment, roof geometry, connection accuracy and installation sequencing. The completed buildings demonstrate consistent roof lines, neat façade detailing and reliable coordination between the main structure and enclosure system.
